I was asked to create a poster for the 2011 Sarasota Medieval Fair. The first thing that popped into my head was a Giant TURKEY LEG held high in the air – where else can you find these plentiful treats? I focused on the concept around the Turkey leg – Held High – A call to arms. The second concept was inspired by old Prince Valiant comics from my childhood. The colors and style were striking & very beautiful – the line work and imagination behind the comic really captured the elegance of the period.
