I don’t think of sketchbooks as sacred…. They are rough materials a useful took to jot down ideas and flesh out visual concepts. I always stress the importance to any creative thinker not just artists types, Carry and use a sketchbook for idea creation and documentation. I have dozens of sketchbooks containing ideas, working thoughts to grocery lists. My sketchbooks give me a pressure-free place to play with ideas.
